Urgent Safety Recall - Act Now
The recall relates to the brake booster fitted to certain Mercedes-Benz ML-Class, GL-Class (164 platform) and R-Class vehicles (251 platform) model year 2005 – 2013.
Mercedes-Benz New Zealand has advised a recall on the brake booster for certain vehicles delivered to the New Zealand market.
The recall relates to the brake booster fitted to certain models, across 2005 – 2013 years including:
ML-Class
GL-Class (164 platform)
R-Class vehicles (251 platform
Customers are advised to not drive their vehicles until the recall has been completed.

Mercedes-Benz Brake Booster
Any necessary inspection and rectification work will be carried out free of charge, and if a vehicle is unavailable for an extended period, customer support is available to provide alternative transport solution, including a daily allowance for Taxis or Ubers (receipts required) until the vehicle can be inspected.
We sincerely apologise to all affected vehicle owners for any inconvenience this may cause. We are working closely with Mercedes-Benz New Zealand to action the recall on affected vehicles as efficiently as possible.
